Sensium manufactures, develops, sells, services and supports our GPS tracking hardware and software ourselves - not reselling an offshore platform. The whole supply chain runs through Brisbane. Custom firmware is written in-house when a fleet needs it. Does your current GPS provider offer this?

Built for past-cellular coverage.
Standard TRACKbox runs on Telstra's 700 MHz 4G network for the broadest available coverage. For fleets that operate past cellular — utility crews, mining haul, agricultural plant, remote government — TRACKbox 4 adds Direct-to-Cell satellite failover. No driver action, no manual switching: the device falls over to satellite automatically when cellular drops.
Connectivity
Telstra 700 MHz 4G is the primary cellular path on TRACKbox. TRACKbox 4 adds satellite as automatic failover for fleets operating beyond cellular coverage. Both layers reach the same Sensium Connect cloud, with the same encrypted two-way connection.

Compliant to operate in Australia and New Zealand.
The Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) is mandatory certification every tracking device must hold to be legally used in Australia and New Zealand. Sensium holds RCM approval on its TRACKbox hardware. If your current telematics device can't prove RCM compliance, that's a sovereign-supply problem waiting to surface in procurement.

The TB2 is the hard-wired in-vehicle workhorse for powered vehicles. The TB3 is a sealed battery unit for non-powered assets such as trailers and plant. The TRACKbox 4 adds 4G LTE, GNSS positioning, and Sense Network LoRa, and is satellite-capable for fleets operating beyond cellular coverage.

TRACKbox is built for a design life of more than ten years — some units have been in service for around seventeen years. Every unit ships with a three-year warranty and is RCM certified. The hardware is designed and manufactured in Australia with firmware developed in-house.

TRACKbox uses store-and-forward: when the device is outside cellular coverage it records data locally and uploads it once a connection is re-established, so you do not lose the trip. On the satellite-capable TRACKbox 4, satellite connectivity provides an additional path where it is available.

Sensium Connect is hosted on Google Cloud Australian infrastructure, with all customer data - Australian and New Zealand - on Australian servers. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the platform runs at 99.5%+ uptime. The whole stack, device to dashboard, is built and supported locally.
