Our commitment to Sustainability
Sensium supports eWaste Connection
eWaste Connection is on a mission that we truly believe in. This social enterprise, based in Kenmore in Brisbane’s Western Suburbs, offers opportunities to young people with intellectual special needs.
eWaste Connection accepts donations of old electrical waste (anything with a cord, lead or battery) and then recycles the components to reduce landfill.
Great impact
As you can imagine, eWaste Connection manages to save valuable components, precious metals and other elements that can be re-used.
The impact extends to the benefits for the participants, too, as they are able to make a meaningful contribution to society.
Sensium is the proud corporate sponsor of eWaste Connection. We installed our TRACKbox telematics devices in their vehicles to aid in their fleet management.
We recycle
Did you know that our TRACKbox devices are made in Brisbane from partly recycled plastic? At “end-of-life” the TRACKbox devices can be returned to Sensium, where we refurbish and reuse where possible, or recycle.
