Sensium Connect is your all-in-one dashboard for government fleet management. Choose from three Sensium Connect plans; each plan includes different features, depending on your fleet management needs.
Sensium Connect is the place to access all your alerts, reports, defined places (aka geofences), mapping and more.
-
All your vehicle management is done through our software dashboard, Sensium Connect. Runs all aspects of your government fleet management from drivers to vehicles, battery state-of-charge to alerts and reports
-
Only Sensium Connect can offer you “TruePath Tracking” - our unique system that allows you to see your vehicle second-by-second, metre-by-metre.
-
Sensium Connect is the backbone of everything we offer. Integrations include telematics, pool vehicle booking, driver safety scorecard and more.
Sensium’s Australian-Made GPS tracking and telematics device: TRACKbox
Sensium TRACKbox TB2 assists fleet managers to measure, monitor and take action to protect their vehicles and drivers. The vehicle’s location, speed, heading, engine hours, idle time, CAN bus telematics, and driver behaviour attached to a DriverID are all monitored and recorded for analysis.
Manufactured with Sensium Connect, our software designed for government fleet management, your TRACKbox is manufactured in Brisbane, so you can be sure of its compatibility, reliability and most importantly, security.
-
We make the TRACKbox with love, by hand, in Brisbane. We’ve also made a durable version suitable or mowers, tractors and other uses that require splash protection.
-
Mobile reception can be a problem for regional government fleet managers. We can help. The TRACKbox operates on Telstra’s 700Mhz 4G network and we can also arrange a satellite version. Call to discuss.
-
We can help with your TRACKbox installation so you can manage all possible aspects of your vehicle, from battery state-of-charge (or fuel) to engine fault codes, accurate location, driver behaviour reporting and more.
Pool car booking solution: Sensium’s pool vehicle booking
Sensium’s Pool Vehicle Booking system streamlines fleet management with features like real-time EV status monitoring, key management, and remote booking via app or desktop. It enhances efficiency, reduces costs, and improves vehicle allocation through AI. Additional benefits include security, compliance with data residency laws, and seamless integration with Key Watcher systems for secure key storage.
All your share cars are available on one dashboard.

-
If you’re currently running your pool car bookings in Outlook or another method not designed for the task, we can help you. Not only can we make your pool vehicle booking management easier and more efficient, we can help you “right-size” your fleet by calculating exactly how many vehicles you actually need.
-
Government fleet management sometimes requires costs to be allocated to different cost centres. Split your vehicles up into different fleets and make them available to specific cost centres, restricting who uses the vehicles and allocating to the correct budget.
-
If you use a vehicle on Tuesdays between 10am and 11am, you won’t have to enter a new booking each time. The recurring booking feature (coming June 2024) will allow you book once and let it recur as required.
-
Sensium’s Pool Vehicle Booking system with hardware offers lots of advantages (such as remote locking/unlocking and battery monitoring) but you can get started with our “app-only” version, with no hardware installation required. Staff can make, start, and end bookings with an app
-
If you’re obliged to track which passenger is in which vehicle, you can do that with Sensium’s pool vehicle booking system. And we keep the data archived, so you’ll be able to access it into the future.
-
From July 2024 you’ll be able to ensure drivers only have access to specific fleets. If someone doesn’t have authority to drive forklifts, you can block their access.
Access and disable your cars without keys - with a fob, RFID staff card or with secure app, from anywhere in the world
Fleet managers value remote vehicle access and disabling for enhanced security, operational efficiency, and convenience. This technology prevents unauthorized access, streamlines the unique demands of Council and Government fleet management operations by eliminating physical keys, and allows for global management of the fleet, ensuring quick responses to dynamic needs and emergencies.
-
This technology helps prevent unauthorised access and reduces the risk of theft. Fleet managers can remotely disable vehicles if they are compromised or stolen, ensuring greater control and protection of assets.
-
Remote access and disabling capabilities streamline operations by eliminating the need for physical keys. This allows for easier vehicle sharing among staff, quick reallocation of resources, and efficient handling of emergencies or maintenance needs.
-
Fleet managers can manage vehicles from anywhere in the world, providing flexibility and convenience. This remote capability supports better fleet management and quick responses to dynamic operational demands or unexpected situations.
Make admin more efficient with Key Watcher key safe integration
Fleet managers value Key Watcher integration for streamlined key management, enhanced security, and improved administrative control. It automates key handling, ensures only authorized access, and provides detailed usage reports. This integration boosts efficiency, accountability, and operational oversight, making fleet management more effective and secure.
-
Integration with Key Watcher systems automates the check-in/check-out process, reducing the time and effort required to manage physical keys. This leads to improved efficiency and accuracy in key handling.
-
Key Watcher provides real-time tracking of key usage, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access keys. This enhances security and accountability, reducing the risk of lost or stolen keys.
-
The system offers detailed reporting and audit trails, enabling Council and government fleet managers to monitor key usage and access patterns. This helps in making informed decisions, optimizing operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Know who’s driving your vehicles, and when. Keep a log for a Chain of Responsibility with driver ID module
Council and Government fleet management value driver ID modules for enhanced accountability, safety, and efficient fleet management. These modules ensure proper driver identification, support compliance with safety regulations, and provide accurate logs for better scheduling and resource allocation, optimizing operations and promoting responsible vehicle usage.
-
The driver ID module ensures that each driver is properly identified, promoting accountability for vehicle usage. This helps in tracking driver behavior, responsibility for incidents, and adherence to company policies.
-
Keeping a detailed log of who is driving and when supports compliance with safety regulations and the Chain of Responsibility requirements. It ensures that only authorized, qualified drivers operate the vehicles, enhancing overall safety.
-
Accurate driver logs facilitate better scheduling, resource allocation, and performance monitoring. This helps in optimising fleet operations, reducing downtime, and improving overall efficiency.
Protecting driver safety with panic and duress buttons in vehicles
Government fleet managers install our panic and duress buttons because they value enhanced driver security, quicker emergency response times, and increased driver confidence. These features ensure prompt assistance during emergencies, improve overall safety, and boost driver satisfaction and retention, making them essential for effective fleet management and driver well-being.
-
Panic and duress buttons provide drivers with an immediate means of communication in case of emergencies, such as accidents, health issues, or criminal activities like hijacking or theft. This quick access to help can be crucial in ensuring driver safety and prompt assistance.
-
In the event of an emergency, panic and duress buttons allow for a rapid alert to fleet managers or emergency services. This can significantly reduce response times, potentially preventing further harm and ensuring that the situation is managed swiftly and efficiently.
-
Knowing that there are safety measures in place, such as panic and duress buttons, can increase drivers' confidence and job satisfaction. This not only helps in retaining experienced drivers but also attracts new drivers to the fleet, as safety features are a significant consideration for many professionals in the industry.

Many organisations are either obliged to comply with or choose to comply with data residency laws. That means no part of the software can have data transmitted outside of Australia. Security is Sensium’s biggest strength, and your data will always be stored only on servers in Sydney. It’s critical you interrogate the veracity of data residency claims from other suppliers, as they are known to use product add-ons that can’t completely satisfy data residency requirements.
